File Rescue rogue and its removal guide.

File Rescue is one more rogue that claims to be an antivirus for you in order to steal your money. The rogue penetrates inside your system and automatically begins to scan it and provides you with the list of threats it supposedly finds. The quantity of threats is not important at all as all of them are just not real. File Rescue virus creates its own fake names of different scams and trojans for you to believe that your system is really infected and needs to be repaired immediately.

File Rescue virus suggests you to use its full versions to proceed the removal guide of those above-mentioned threats it finds. But at first you need to pay for the product. That how the malware can fool you into the purchasing. Do not give your money to this fraud under any circumstances! If you do the purchase you will get nothing but lost time and money.

Just remember that File Rescue is a virus not a good program. Do not believe anything it shows you or tells you. Just ignore everything.

STEP 1.

In order to remove File Rescue malware from your PC it is strongly recommended that you first run GridinSoft Trojan Killer.

STEP 2.

Use Win + E hotkey combination to open My Computer window.

STEP 3.

From this stage (in the address field) you may insert the address of GridinSoft Trojan Killer’s site http://trojan-killer.net and download our recommended software.

STEP 4.

Install and update it, run the scan and remove all threats it finds.

STEP 5.

Then download two additional free applications called Unhider.exe and restore.exe These utilities will help you to unhide and restore the files which were hidden by File Rescue rogue.

Run both of them and reboot your PC.

Delete File Rescue registry files:

  • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\[rnd_0].exe %CommonAppData%\[rnd_0].exe
  • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system\DisableTaskMgr 0
