Hi guys. There is one more ransomware that you need to know about inside the web. The ransomware called Luxembourg Police Virus. There is not much difference among ransomwares we have already written you about here. And this one is not an exception. Luxembourg Police Virus penetrates inside your system with one main goal --> to steal your money by fooling you. It blocks your entire system and says that it will be blocked until you pay certain sum of money. Be smart! Do not pay for this malware. Your money will go to the frauds not some official program.
Those whose systems are infected with Luxembourg Police Virus will see such message in front of them:
Votre ordinateur a été bloque! Le fonctionnement de votre ordinateur est arrêté pour les signes de la cyberacdvité défendue. […] La somme de l’amende fait 100 euros. Le paiement doit être produit pendant 48 heures, après la révélation de la v:olabon. Si l’amende n’est pas payée, une action pénale sera automatiquement ouverte contre votre personne. votre ordinateur sera débloqué après le paiement de l’amende.

Removal guide of Luxembourg Police Virus:
STEP 1.
Before the very boot process begins keep repeatedly hitting F8 button on your keyboard. In the window that appeared select Safe mode with networking option and press Enter.
STEP 2.
When the system loads, access the Internet and download GridinSoft Trojan Killer.
STEP 3.
Install GridinSoft Trojan Killer and remove Luxembourg Police Virus while still in Safe Mode with Networking.
If you have Windows 7
Install the application and restart the PC normally.
If you have Windows XP
Launch MSConfig.
Press Start --> Run
or press [Win]+R on keyboard
Type MSConfig
- Wait for a new window to pop up, then go to Startup, apply Disable All button and restart the PC.
- Install GridinSoft Trojan Killer and remove Luxembourg Police Virus with it.
