And it actually can do that. How exactly?
When File Restore rogue gets into your system it automatically begins its dirty actions. It scans your system and shows you the results of the scanning. There you can find lots of scams and trojans, but you need to know that all of them are totally fake. You do not have any of those in your machine. That is how File Restore virus acts in your system --> it penetrates inside of it, and a lot of antivirus programs will not even determine it as a threat, then the rogue tries to convince you that it is a good program by acting like one. But do not believe anything it shows you! It will only confuse you. And do not even think about purchasing of File Restore product!! STEP 1.
In order to remove File Restore malware from your PC it is strongly recommended that you first run GridinSoft Trojan Killer.
STEP 2.
Use Win + E hotkey combination to open My Computer window.
STEP 3.
From this stage (in the address field) you may insert the address of GridinSoft Trojan Killer’s site http://trojan-killer.net and download our recommended software.
STEP 4.
Install and update it, run the scan and remove all threats it finds.
STEP 5.
Then download two additional free applications called Unhider.exe and restore.exe These utilities will help you to unhide and restore the files which were hidden by File Restore rogue.
